This is a well-planned sale. We will have 25-30 volunteers working all week long receiving donations, sorting, pricing, displaying, organizing, and diligently creating an extraordinary array of books, household goods, casual and boutique clothing, shoes, boots, and accessories, linens, decorative arts, jewelry, original art and prints, and furniture. It’s “like a box of chocolates”, we “never know what we’ll get” each year.

Almost everything is priced to enhance the shopping experience. Some items are priced separately as marked, and we do sell on-line. We have some precious donations appraised prior to sale. We also sell refreshments for breakfast and lunch plus coffee, tea, water, homemade cookies, brownies, etc.

The Santa Fe Woman’s Club flea market is now an annual community event started eleven years ago when the SFWC received a donation of large furniture, beautiful oriental carpets, trasteros, old crocheted linens, and kilims, and decided to have a sale. This market is where friends and locals meet; where the curious participate looking for that special treasure, and often where visitors from other cities and countries explore after seeing our ads in the local newspapers.

To sum up, not only, is the SFWC Flea Market a way to fundraise, but also, is great fun, and a chance to do your Christmas shopping early!

Proceeds have benefitted young people by providing scholarships to the college of their choice. In 2017 we established the SFWC 125th Anniversary Scholarship through a $10,000 donation to the Santa Fe Community College endowed scholarship fund.

For further information or to volunteer with us, please call SFWC, 1616 Old Pecos Trail, (505) 983-9455, leave a message, and one of our members will return your call.
